A tall, totemic form rises from a simple black metal stand, its entire surface given over to a single gesture. Coarse woven fabric, gilded to a warm bronze, is bound and layered around the figure's frame in overlapping bands with some taut and precise, while others are loosely gathered, folded, or seamed with visible stitching. The effect is at once armor and shroud, protective and vulnerable in the same breath.
The surface catches light unevenly across its textured weave, shifting from warm glow to shadowed crease depending on where you stand. There is a stillness to the piece that feels ceremonial, something between relic and ruin, holding its silence with quiet authority.
M0126 asks to be walked around, not just looked at with each angle revealing a new fold, a new seam, a new piece of the story it isn't quite telling.
