Humanity...in the lower portion it is black and white, a binary view of the world, as we move up and grow things become more complex but also more colorful and full of new experiences. It's about growth and learning and acceptance. It's about being human in the best way.
The piece is made by hand bending many metal rods, then forming and welding the combined shapes to create this tall and fluid piece. The final step was painting the different sections to emphasize the story and meaning.
It is clean and raw at the same time. Not traditionally perfect, there are flaws here in there, just like in life.
